The final count down ... End of day 1

Day 1 went fine. Murphy has not arrived yet. The database restores for the Data Warehouse environment are finished. I'm ahead of schedule and have started the ERP restores already. They will take most of the night to restore to disk. By tomorrow morning I will have the SQL backup files available on disk and start the restore of the database in SQL SERVER.
In the mean time I'm uploading all transaction log backups of the current production environment over the WAN to Brussels. There's an upload of about 1 to 2 GB each hour.
Everything else is ready. The last application version has been copied, all database users have been created and the preparations for blocking the end user community on Friday night are finished.
